The Idealism Network

The idealism Network is an international collaboration of philosophers working on contemporay versions of idealism. It has the goal of furthering research on idealism that is not primarily historical. It hopes to achieve its goal by connecting those who work on idealism to each other, by exchanging ideas and work-in-progress, by engaging in discussions at various workshops and conferences, and by diseminating the work that has recently been done on idealism.

The idealism network hopes to hold regular conferences, with the First Idealism Summit being planned for accademic year 2023/24 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in Chapel Hill, NC, USA.

If you have any questions about or suggestions for the Idealism Network, please feel free to email Thomas Hofweber at hofweber@unc.edu

Why idealismus.net, and not idealism.net? In part to highlight the international aspect of the collaboration, in part to acknowledge the German roots of parts of idealism, and in part because idealism.net was already taken.
